Our Pastor
Pastor Hammond was born and raised in rural Western New York. In 1989, he graduated from college in Buffalo. He then worked in medical research and pharmaceutical advertising in both New Jersey and New York City.
In 1997, he and his family began attending Long Hill Baptist Church. As they grew in their walk with Christ, they became increasingly more active in the church. In 2006, pastor Hammond returned to school and completed his Masters of Biblical Studies degree. In 2009, he was called to serve as our pastor. Since that time he has pursued additional training at the Bible Baptist Theological Seminary, the Hope Biblical Counseling Center, and the Texas Theological University & Seminary.
Pastor Hammond has a heart to see people of all ages come to Christ and to grow in their walk with Christ. Pastor has served as both a visiting instructor at New England Baptist College and as student Bible study leader at the University of Bridgeport.
