We want you to understand that God offers tremendous hope - but only to those who place their faith in Jesus Christ alone for forgiveness of sin.  In Romans 15:13, Paul writes,"Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost."  Christ offers a hope that is a certain hope!  Learn more here.

Responding to Tragedy in Dallas

Today, we find ourselves with hearts made heavy again by wickedness and tragedy -- this time in Dallas. Our response must be the same as with other recent tragedies: pray, share the gospel and take responsible steps to guard your safety. Let us also be reminded to guard our hearts and minds: "Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded" (James 4:8). Then let us recommit ourselves to sharing the gospel - the only hope for this wicked world. This week, our Saturday gospel outreach will be in Trumbull at 10:30 AM.
