Campus Bible Study Daily for Monday, May 6, 2019

πŸ“– Bible insights: In Galatians 5:22, the Bible details the characteristics of the new nature that we receive when we place our faith in Christ for salvation:   β€œBut the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance...” What a contrast to the traits that characterize our old nature!  Read the passage at http://bit.ly/GaL519-21 πŸ”Ž   Galatians 5:16 commands, β€œ...Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.”  If you know Christ as your Savior, you may overcome sinful temptation by yielding to the Spirit of God!

πŸ™ If you’re saved, pray and ask God to help you yield to the Holy Spirit.  Confess any sin that you are aware of. And ask God for grace to put off sin -- and to put on obedience.  He’ll bless you for your decision!

❓ A Good Question:  What does the Bible actually say about homosexuality? See http://bit.ly/LGBtQ

πŸ“… Join us for our final Bible study of the semester this Thursday at 8:00 in the Wahlstrom Library.

I’m praying that God will bless your efforts this week -- and that finals will go well!

Have a blessed afternoon!

In Christ,
Pastor Hammond
