Long Hill Baptist Chuch Food Pantry

The food pantry at Long Hill Baptist Church is open immediately before and after each church service.  Other times may be available by appointment.

The panty offers pre-packaged, non-perishable food to individuals and families who have a legitimate need for assistance.

  • What do you need to do?
    • At your first visit, you will need to provide your name, address and the number of people in your family.  All information is confidential;

    • We expect that anyone who requests food will have a legitimate need for assistance.   However we do not verify income or other eligibility criteria.

Please note that, at this time, food will be provided on a first come, first served basis.  We cannot guarantee that food will be available for everyone who visits the pantry.   Howevever, we have generally been able to meet all needs.

Want to make a donation?

  • Food donations may be dropped in a box in the church foyer during regular church services.  Other drop-off times may be scheduled by contacting the church.  Please consider donating items including:  low-sodium soup, canned fruit and vegetables, tuna, peanut butter, rice, beans, pasta and pasta sauce, powdered milk, breakfast cereal and grocery bags.

  • Monetary donations may be mailed to the church at:  Food Pantry, Long Hill Baptist Church, 100 Middlebrooks Avenue, Trumbull, CT 06611. Please mark your check "Food Pantry."  If you attend LHBC, you may also make monetary donations via your regular church offering (mark your offering envelope with the amount to be allocated to the pantry).

Please pray that God will bless this important ministry.
